Watched series 1, but by episode 4 we were so tired of the repetitive flash backs to the car crash, and the dominance of the lead character’s addiction problem, that we lost interest. We pushed through the next 2 eps to see a resolution but - she spits on Alex in the car!!!!???? - no, that finishes it for us. We won’t be watching series 2. We enjoy a good story, this could have been without all the above.

The Gulf

I’m 110 pages in and the narrative sounded interesting to start off the learning, but it goes on and on and on with the same waffle - it is so repetitive and the learning has only been through small drip feeds of the actual technique. The filler story is boring and now they are holding hands. Really? Who cares? I have looked ahead and it is just more of the same for 200 more pages. No - this is a waste of time. I’m so disappointed because I was counting on it to inspire me. Good luck to those who can get through it. I’ll find another way to learn to start the day at 5am with ‘quiet time’ because I think it is a good idea.
