This movie really seems to capture what it means to be a kid. I also really like the imagery for the adult watchers like Jason issacs being the dad and Captain Hook! Genius!!! The child actors did a great job too I thought Jeremy sumpter as Peter Pan was one of the best casting decisions ever. The energy and charisma he brought to the role was really top notch. Thought that Rachel Hurd-Wood as Wendy was pretty great too she really held her own when compared to her co-stars. Overall this is one of my absolute favorite childhood movies and I plan to show this to my kids as my go to Peter Pan movie!!

So far I’m not overwhelmed by the story and the acting other than Emilia Clarke is kinda mediocre, but it thankfully doesn’t have any political bs in it so it gets a bonus star out of relief

It was Ight didn’t rly like the actor for Peter or Tink they were kinda wooden to me but whatever thought that Wendy was pretty dang good tho. Overall kinda a waste of time. Crazy Alan tudyk and Jude law were in this seems a little below them. Made me nostalgic for the other live action one tho rewatching that was wild. Lol

Sofia Carson nailed it!! Thought it would be super cringe but her acting and music made it hella enjoyable. NG was okay but some of his acting just missed for me. His chemistry with Sofia is no joke tho. They got me legitimately invested in the relationship of the mains which is rare for these kinds of romance movies. So overall a solid movie! ;p

Tbh any SW movie that can tell a compelling story and have good action w/out the MC being a force user is a win in my book. I enjoyed the fan service cuz it wasn’t too over the top DV is still the BBOC and new characters told new(ish) stories. Obviously it wasn’t a totally standalone movie but it introduced a dif. side to themes introduced in the OG trilogy very well. Also Alan Tudyk is my spirit animal!

I’ve always been a fan of halo and this first ep checked a lot of my boxes for what I wanted to see. The overall flow of the story was meh and I can’t tell whether I liked MC taking of his helmet in the first ep but whatever, hope the character development is a little better and the fight sequences are more unique I get they’re Trina be like the game but come on it looked clunky as hell. Even after saying all this crit I still really enjoyed it and I really hope they can bring Cortana and Chiefs story into coming episodes cuz Cortana is my fav character
