This was a very quick read for me because it had no depth. I felt like I was reading a story written by one of my junior high school students. The characters were one dimensional. The plot was a long list of “things that happened” one after the other, like a long train passing, car after car going by. For example, a character dies midway through, and it is treated with as much attention as someone knocking at a door. I gave it 2 stars because it did get me to read it all the way to the end. Unfortunately I found nothing to redeem it, once I got there.
