All thes 5 stars are based on 2 hours of gameplay from the free trial, half of which are reviews from testers specificly meant to bump of the overall review of this game.
This game in all honesty is a disappointment from the crew 2. Yes graphics are better and overall driving experience is more relistic but when is comes to comparing from there previous best seller, this game is just a cheap laundrymatt arcade game at best.
First off you can't play multiplayer with friends, on the crew 2 you were able to invite your friends to join your crew, thus allowed you to interact with friends in free roam as well as events. Many players specifically raced and gained achievements in order to show off their ride to there friends in free roam. This unfortunately is not availabe in the crew motorfest. Although it allows you to invite friends into your crew...it will not allow you to interact with them at all. Which leaves the whole idea of "invite into crew" pointless. There is no way of having your friends in the same session.
Second you can not use your personal ride
( ps: that takes a whole lot of races to upgrade to full potention) in any of the event races. Which leaves the question of " what is the point of upgrading and spending you money on your personal rides if you can't use them on any events or interact with any friends
Third the "realism" is honeslty mid, ai presence is horrible, there is hardly any ai traffic, no poeple on sidewalks, players in session is limited to 7 of which your lucky to get at least 4 90% of the time. handling is ok but will be at disadvantages with steering wheel set ups. The location in which the game takes place is great but nothing compared to the map in the crew 2. The crew 2 had a huge map based off the US in which there was so much to explore. While the crew motorfest has a decent map, there isn't much roads to explore... not much places to go besides the main road that circles the island. If your into offload then this is the game for you..
All in all the game is great of its your first time playing the crew, again my review is based on years of play from the crew 2, in which they portray the crew motor fest as the "next big thing"
