This book is an excellent read for anyone who wants to learn about personal growth and development within leadership or just in general.
I believe that everyone has their own definition of leadership because it is a personal understanding. This book goes into great detail regarding "everyday people" within leadership. The five fundamental practices being "Model The Way", "Inspire a Shared Vision", "Challenge the Process", " Enable Others to Act", and "Encourage the Heart" are the main points within the book. Each module dives into personal stories and examples referring to ways to change perspective and strengthen leadership qualities.
This book was a required textbook for one of my classes and I definitely learned so much about myself and also identified the traits that I feel I should work more in depth with. This book also encouraged me to look into how my peers view leadership which helped me work with them on a more eye-to-eye level.
