Absolutely engrossed from start to finish and by golly that ending was heart wrenching. I was so lost in the storytelling that I forgot I knew the outcome. Whilst it’s not exactly a happy read, it’s certainly an awe inspiring and delightful read. I can’t wait to read more.

A Frost of Fear and Fortitude is a great short read/listen for the start of Winter. The story is filled with monsters, mysteries and a lot of snow! The writing is really interesting and the resolution at the end took me by surprise. The fantasy twist to Santa as a monster hunter makes it a refreshing and cool Christmas read. I particularly enjoyed the audiobook as the narrative sounds like Iain Glen from GoT and Gregor, the protagonist, sounds like Henry Cavil’s Witcher which makes it all the better.
