The Hate You Give was an excellent movie that speaks volumes to the climate of our communities today. It was heart-wrenching; many times I found myself crying and thinking about the men in my family and how they have become targets of the very people that are supposed to be there to serve and protect. I am so thankful for the writers, directors, cast, etc. that came together to make this movie one of the most significant stories in our lifetime and to talk about what it going on in our world today. The shoot first, shoot to kill mentality that some cops have needs to stop. Too many innocent people (especially children) are losing their lives and justice is not served.
