I watched half of season 1, I give it a 2 because they decided to go with a "soap opera" theme. There was some scenes that kept me interested but it falls so short. I am a Star Trek Fan from the 1960's. Enjoyed Next Generation, all the movies. I even enjoyed deep space 9. Voyager was also very interesting and enjoyable to watch. One could relate with the characters of most Star Trek episodes. I really wanted it to work but it has lost its mojo. For a prequel they did not do their homework. Affirmative action and lgbtq seem to taken over the cast. Even the engineer is tiresome and way too alien even for Star Trek. In the Next Generation the Klingon was supposedlly the first Federation officer from a alien culture. Strange New Worlds is definitely strange and at same time, I find myself wanting to dust and vacuum. Too bad it went very woke. Even our entertainment is trying to indoctrinate. The captain sleeps with anyone and anything. The pace is so slow and it motivated me to write this review. Star Trek fans, this is not Star Trek!
