I watched Wicked recently and honestlyโฆ the story and fantasy were great, but the songs completely ruined it for me. It felt like a 2 hour 40 minute nonstop musical. I took my mum and we both felt sick from the constant loud singing. Even I needed two days to recover โ my heart was literally shaking from how intense it was. I wish they added some quiet moments or toned down the music. For me, it ended up being one of the worst movie experiences ever. Totally not my type. It felt like a 2 hour 40 minute competition between kids trying to see who can shout louder and longer. Thatโs exactly how the singing felt โ nonstop, loud, and exhausting. โญ๏ธ To the producer: with the amount of experience you have in this industry, I honestly expected something far more balanced. A person with decades of work behind them should know how to create a film that respects the audienceโs comfort. Instead, it felt like nonstop shouting for almost three hours. The story had potential, but the musical intensity completely overwhelmed it.
