Though I haven’t read the book yet, I have just read a chapter in a Walter Bruegemann book which relies heavily on Guldi’s text to support the rights of indigenous people globally to self-determination against multinational companies who seek to dominate property rights, territory, mechanization and workers’ rights so that peasants and manufacturing workers have no collective authority to influence powers and authorities.
