Degrassi: The Next Generation is WAYYY better. I know people are rating the show low because of the ONE Taylor Swift comment, but there are worst things than a comment about your favorite singer. 1. MOST (some of the actors are very talented) of the acting is so cringy to the point that it's funny. 2. It's trying to be "relatable" with the weird pop culture references, and the selfies, but it's just cringeworthy. 3. I get that they're trying to be "woke", but the bad scenarios are so unrelatable, that it's so much farther from reality, unlike TNG. For example the swatting, I have NEVER seen someone be swatted because they took down a misogynistic game. To sum it up: NEVER accept an offer from Netflix to pick up your show, it will just make it worse.
