Couldn’t get into it. There is not enough narrative to explain the plot or even address the scene locations. The time shifts make it disjointed and the first hundred pages paint such a depressing picture that I found it hard to see anything good. It is a hard read. Perhaps one for the pretentious academics who like Virginia Woolf. (I find her more unreadable than this but it is not far behind).
