Good movie. Really enjoyed just watching it. Had no idea Madonna directed it. Well done! These harsh comments are grossly exaggerated.

I wanted to like this but the series is a complete miscarriage. I finally stopped watching after 5.5 episodes. That's how hard I tried. An embarrassing attempt at WHAT exactly, I'm not sure. Misha Green's explanations don't jive. If you want gratuitous gore and stereotypes this might be for you. I regret the time I can't get back and the horrific and ridiculous scenes I subjected myself to...to no end.

Definitely NOT a waste of my time like so many other recent movies. I didn't read the book so I have no attachment to the book. Too bad the readers gave such biased reviews. Solid performance from Jordan. Kept my attention and raised my pressure a little lol. I recommend it.

The series is really good. The series is for entertainment purposes and it definitely dose entertain. The acting is strong and the story line is solid - inspired by Harlem gangster Bumpy Johnson.

Dont believe Rotten Tomatoes on this one. Even as old as it is it's a great watch!!! Not like some of these 80+ scores that when you finish the movie WAITING for it to get GOOD at least, you're left mourning the time you can't get back! Lol. (Thank heavens for fast forward). This is entertaining.

Captivating. I never thought of the time once and if a movie doesn't capture me I wonder what else I could be doing. Such an intimate and inspiring telling of a personal story. I recommend!

I'm 13 minutes 29 seconds in and already disappointed I cant get THAT time back. Wow...go watch Schitts Creek if you haven't and thank me later. If you have already, a second watch of ALL 6 seasons would be much better use if your time. You're welcome. 😉

Binge worthy and thought provoking while keeping things really entertaining and ultimately uplifting. Highly recommend.
