This book is fantastic for children, it's a great depiction of historical events, and the format and characters are gorgeous. 10/10 book, I would definitely read this again. Probably my favorite book, I think each character is different in their own way, so each kid can relate to someone else. The way Isabelle and Josef's stories interlock just add so much spice into it, and each cliffhanger leaves you lurking for more of the story. It's action packed, but not in a dumb way, you'll never know what's going to happen next or how they'll get out of the situation. Refugee is easily one of my favorite books, and definitely one everyone needs to read at least once.
