Interesting, though disturbing might be more accurate. Shows just what a farce our (and Canada's) justice system can be. And how utterly corrupt our police can be. I can't comment on the accuracy of the story itself, but I can comment on some of the obvious errors. Obvious to at least some gun owners. The murder weapon was claimed to be a 38 Special, the ammo 200gr bullet and of Remington make. The heaviest bullet a 38 can use is 158gr, and the color of the ammo box was that of Speer, not Remington. The discrepancy in bullet weight could be due to misidentification of either the weapon or the chambering. 38 S&W is not the same as 38 Special, but the standard load for the 38 S&W is a 200gr bullet. But it is highly unlikely any police dept. used 38 S&W at that time. It's errors of this sort that irk me. And being as Lori lost a leg through amputation, and why, makes me think she probably wasn't as innocent as portrayed, though I don't believe she was involved in the murder she was convicted of. In sum, a few questions unanswered.
