Resisted watching this because the ending had been spoiled, but finally getting ‘round to it on a rainy day. It’s beautiful. I know people disagree with his choice, perhaps because they feel his reason wasn’t good enough, or offensive. It was his choice though. Many have made similar decisions, and for as long as we are able to decide for ourselves what path our lives take, we must respect an individual’s right to choose differently.
