*SOME SPOILERS*
This movie was genuinely the weirdest movie I have ever watched. When she got up as the really old person on New Yearโs Eve I started laughing. The last 10 minutes had to have been a social experiment to see how long people would sit there and watch it. I sort of understand the messages it was trying to send but I really donโt know if I can appreciate them because the end of it was a joke. Like I said I understand the idea of it but I feel like it was taken to a level that wasnโt necessary. The message could have been good and I think it was taken to a perfect extent, one that can make people uncomfortable but not go too far, until they were both awake and Sue was beating Elisabeth to a point that was over the top. After that point I honestly liked the idea of Sue even trying to get a better version of herself because it shows the never ending cycle I think it was trying to point out but then for it to make it so far as to go all the way back to the studio and then on the stage and not fall apart until itโs on the street and even then not being done. I just feel like it was drawn out to the point where it was no longer pushing the envelope, but being unserious. I really did enjoy the performances of Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley and I liked the vibrancy of the movie but the extent to which the gore and violence were taken was to a point where I could no longer appreciate the aspects I did enjoy.
