cuisine cop

I usually review restaurants but i decided this film was so bad that i needed to put in my two cents. this movie follows a young woman (Lisa) who’s world changes when she is looking for a “cowboy hat” and spots a bus driver wearing one. she tries to flag down the driver and he is so distracted that he runs a red light and kills a woman who is crossing the street. I don’t know if it was the writer’s intention to make Lisa’s character completely unbearable and selfish but if it was they did an amazing job at it. after her and the bus drivers seemingly mutual agreement to lie and say the light was green to avoid any repercussions Lisa takes it upon herself to go back to the police station and set the record straight about what actually happened. If Lisa’s bad attitude and total disregard for her part in the woman’s death wasn’t enough to annoy you. the Soundtrack for this movie will surely do it for you. The loud overwhelming opera music in the background while the characters were conversing was making me go crazy. I found myself turning on the subtitles so i could turn the volume down and just read what they were saying. some of the scenes felt unnecessarily long and there was really no reason for this movie to be three hours. Unfortunately there’s no real character development for Lisa she doesn’t seem to grow or learn anything from the situation. She simply stays rude, flippant and loud mouthed. i wont give any spoilers at the end but let’s just say the ending was very underwhelming and left a lot to be desired. Three hours of my life i will never get back.

The movie wasn’t great, there wasn’t much of a plot. The plot that WAS there was honestly kind of dumb. The movie seemed more like something you’d see at a small film festival or a school project. It seems the only purpose of the movie was to shock people with gore. Don’t recommend this one guys.
