If Lewis’s intent was to be provocative, in my humble opinion he certainly achieved it with these compilations/theories. I am the first to admit that I am not an intellectual, but merely a Christian seeking a better understanding of Christianity. With his lack of referencing to the scriptures to prove his point I saw this as simply one man’s opinion piece. It would be interesting to read or hear respected theologians take. Disappointing for me personally.
