Weaving bits from your own life into the story that the reader that does not know, so they become such a part of the story for me!! Because I do know, those jumped out at me as beautiful nods to your love and respect for them and the place they have in your heart. I know this was fictional but, at the same time a brutal wake up call regarding mass shootings. There was for me, not a page that was inconsistent and your ability to draw me in as the reader and maintain the momentum of the story!! Captivating!!!
