It’s hard to imagine that a movie with such a fantastic cast could be so slow and boring. None of the characters are really developed, and the movie really drags along with a sense of self importance that it does not deserve.

A true masterpiece that makes you think about the film for days after watching. Cinematography is outstanding, and allows you a real first person perspective of what it might be like to be an immigrant that escaped Auschwitz, and tries to make it in America, A commentary on the realities of perception and control, regardless the level of talent or brilliance.
