It’s good in its own way, but not terribly faithful to the book characters or storyline. In the books, Mrs Hall is a slave driver who keeps Siegfried in line, not a motherly person. And Helen breaks off her relationship with Hugh long before the wedding day. So yes, I enjoy it, but the books are better, as always!
