I did not have any previous info on what this movie was about. It is a strange movie. Started out interesting and engaging, then the blue soul feared Pixar’s version of heaven as a bug zapper and wanted nothing to do with it. The soul needing to find its own meaning and purpose is way to much socialism for me. It wasn’t entertaining and I do not recommend watching it. I love jazz music and wanted this flick to be more about discovering how music is a soul experience. We can uplift others and be uplifted with music and song if it reaches our heart. I understand that talent in Pixar can make great movies and this one could have been great if the writers would have altered the message to hope, goodwill, giving, purpose in living and sharing gifts to inspire the viewers to sing from the heart, play, learn music, and also give from the heart. The whole purpose of Christmas is to give. Maybe Pixar can put a good, giving movie together in the near future.
