By far the worst book of the series. Many character arcs were left open ended. The story was not creative at all this time around felt like reading an anime series. There was forced gay relationships blossoming with all this love and passion but was out of no where and didn’t really paint much justification of affection. The ending was a big let down as well, felt on the same level as Game of Thrones. It’s worth a read so the first 4 books don’t go to waste but if it were stand alone I’d deff skip it. P.S. I have religiously read and reread all of the SLC books(WoK 5x’s). Really hate to write this review but this last book was largely crap full of cheap writing, unoriginal writing and felt it could be a book offered under Audibles free books with other mass produced lower quality sci fi’s.
