*!WARNING! I HAVE NOT SEEN THE ORIGINAL* I feel like people are disappointed that this reboot is almost completely different than the original. But if you look at it like it's own original thing, it's pretty good. I wish some of the side characters would have more of a personality, and the only way that could happen is longer episodes. But, Catra and Adora are great characters because we can see their struggles and what their going through mentally. The art style is a mix between the CN style and anime (like Voltron). I like the mix a lot, it works well with the color pallet.. I think people should take a chill pill and let this reboot become it's own new thing. (Btw the intro is the most cringiest thing I've seen in my life.)
