I am on episode 4 and I've grown bored but I'm not a quitter so I will push through and finish what I've started. With that being said, DON'T waste your time watching. It's yet another show where a colonizer goes to a foreign land that is not theirs and in perfect fashion, becomes everyones savior. YAWN, YAWN, YAWN. This is supposed to be a modern day show about Jesus. It would have been very refreshing to see this piece of work actually depicting the modern day Jesus as a person of color and not the false narrative of a white man(boy) being Jesus. 😩 The constant whitewashing of the Bible is tiresome and completely played out. It's 2023 people, the ENTIRE world KNOWS Jesus WAS NOT A WHITE, BLUE-EYED, BLONDE HAIRED MAN. On another note, the actors performed well with the exception of the sexualization of children, SUPER CRINGE 🥴 I'm giving it 1 star because of the whitewashing of the Bible and the over sexualization of kids. UPDATE: The white, blue-eyed, blonde haired boy was actually the antichrist. LOL The overall message I took from this was NEVER TRUST THEM, they will manipulate you into believing they are the only ones who can save you. All the while they are plotting to steal, kill and destroy everything they touch. MESSAGE! I'm giving it 3 stars now LOL
