So tragic to really just be hearing about this story as an adult, but I’m thankful to be able to see it now and understand how deep rooted issues against black and brown people were prevalent even back then. A beautifully put together movie nonetheless ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

This movie was absolutely POWERFUL!!! Anyone of any color that can deny the brilliance of this movie knows nothing about humanity nor wants peace for a better world! Nate Parker put together a piece so touching and puts a microscope on the dangers of racial profiling as well as the inability of some people to emotionally think beyond themselves and their own wants and needs, along with the deep rooted systematic issues of this country. Well done, Bravo!!
