This is a refreshing bitter sweet take where the actors get it spot on. It is clearly Jane Austen for a new audience. The music and the tensity between Anne and Wentworth is really moving and yet had the essential Austen twists and turns. Mary is brilliantly played also. Ignore the critics. It's great.
