I am watching "What we left behind and now I understand why this show, in my opinion, was a failure. The very first thing this show talked about is how Hawk was not allowed to have a beard which is a matter of pride for men of color and how as Hawk he had a beard. Also, how we need to be strong women and all this other politically correct bullstuff. I hear how actresses are asking how to act in their roles, but not asking producers, etc. None of them were professional talking to the producers or leaders, etc. They all wanted to know how to be a role model rather than acting their roles. So, you cannot be a strong actor, leader without a beard? You are an actor!!! ACT like you don't need a frigging beard to be a strong leader NO MATTER WHAT YOUR color! It is like YOU are creating another stereotype that black actors cannot play strong black characters without a beard!!! YOU ARE CREATING ANOTHER BLACK STEREOTYPE NOBODY NEEDS! Now they are whining about all the masks and makeup. SORRY, but EVERY OTHER Star Trek has that! STOP WITHTHE EXCUSES! Now I am listening to Mark Alamo, one of the most returning characters and coolest, whining about how he never felt appreciated on the set!!! OMG. Your character came back how many times? Deep Space Nine was a sucky concept and driven by cry babies and ridiculous actors and they would go to the lead actor with their insecurities and cry baby bs rather than actual producers and management. Why don't you all just grow up? Also, how much money did you make to cry and wimper about wearing makeup. Shut your mouth, do your job, cash your checks and go home.
