For a guy who isn’t conversant with the type of contemporary and rap music, the story and acting was provocative and insightful into the genre. For those that regularly listen to it and understand the cultural distinctions it might have been less interesting. But, probably because of my lack of understanding, I found it pretty riveting and very entertaining. Thank you Spike Lee. And the cast was great.
