So as someone who actually played both games and think they are both just kinda average. The gameplay is simple just like the first but i don’t think anything is wrong with that. I really liked the custom difficulty where i can play the game how i wanted to with different sliders with each thing. the game did not deserve the review bomb that came from the leak. (first game spoiler) the story wasn’t as simple as take the kid to the hospital and become her father figure on the way it gave real depth to the characters which was realistic to the characters, some might say oh they wouldn’t have done that but everything is something they would do. i didn’t like the premise at first and the direction it was going in at first but the second half of the game really looped it back and it was a well rounded story. ultimately if you like last of us it’s a game worth playing, also don’t skip the first one. you could figure out what’s happening but it’s not worth it just play the first one
