"Passing" is a movie that has me still discussing it. The choice of filming in black and white celluloid was brilliant. The seasons passing are leading the viewer into a muted time of long ago. The Actresses portrayed their choices with style and grace. Two friends living opposite lives in a time of racial desparity. I was hooked from the first seen. I could sense tense building but not what was the stylish ending. If this film was in color it would not have worked.
