Laughably incoherent script. This show is not just a trainwreck, it's a calamity. A total and complete loss. The preview of the show proudly boasts that it was made from the executive producers of The Americans and Homeland (perhaps two of the greatest TV shows of all time). This gave me hope that this show would be yet another goldmine in television making. Wrong. After the first episode, I thought there was potential. But by the second, the show launched off a cliff so epically, that with each subsequent episode it barreled faster and deeper into the dive. Apparently the producers didn't bring in any of the actual writers from Homeland or The Americans because the script is gaudy, cliche, and outrageously unbelievably. Suspicion attempts to be a show grounded in reality, yet throws such implausible, terribly unbelievable moments scene after scene at the viewer, that it makes you question whether you're watching Mission Impossible or something else. This show is truly an assault on the senses. In fact, it's shocking that such poor script writing was delivered to the public. Clearly, Hollywood has given up, choosing to instead recycle old motifs and mash them together into yet another overdone, incoherent script. Avoid.
