Like many of the reviews here, I've seen all the movies in the franchise multiple times. This movie seems like a clip show of those. Line for line and shot for for shot (most of the time). If you watch Alien, Aliens, and Prometheus there's no need to see this one. For someone new to franchise if might be passable but for fans of the franchise it's inexcusable. Either Disney or Ridley (or both) had way too much hands on in this one.

The concept was fine, but the casting raises eyebrows. The short of it, an entire town gets the abuse a mixed race teen who is not allowed to defend himself. Defending himself is a sign that he is evil and deserving of more punishment. The scenery is nice and set design is fair. The acting is average at best. Everyone hates this kid from the moment he is born and the hate seems real. An interracial romance is forbidden and results in even more abuse. I recommend a hard pass on this.

Poor excuse to keep the franchise alive. A ton of people (police included) making stupid mistakes that could've killed Michael but instead they end up dead. Hard to watch more than 20 minutes of this. Pass on this one and save your time.
