Not a book is “NOT” for the novice philosophy/religion reader. I would suggest that the author write a workbook to accompany this book telling the reader at the beginning of each chapter 1) what you’re about to read. 2) the text. 3)Summary of what you just read.
I found it hard to follow because many of the references were beyond me but not to the PhD’s leading this book. The ways of knowing for Dummies might have helped.
