Ches Virden

Dune was exactly what I wanted it to be. I felt as if I was really looking upon a different universe. There is a depth to Dune and it seemed like the movie only scratched the surface of the world within. If part two is as good, this could be the start of a series of movies and/or shows that expand upon the ideas and stories within. The music, special effects, sound design, set pieces, cinematography, costuming; it's all top notch. The actors all did a great job as well. The designs of the ships and vessels, as well as the cities and buildings were unfamiliar. All of this helped to deliver that otherworldly feeling. In closing, Dune is not an action packed adventure but rather a story driven tale that left me wanting more. I give Dune a 10/10 and I would say it's worth watching twice at least. Now they need to just confirm part two!
