The characters bounce between villain and victim so much it’s hard to root for anyone, and the plot often makes zero sense. Shim Su Ryeon’s sacrifice is one of the few bright spots, but even that gets overshadowed by sloppy writing and ridiculous drama. Honestly, the series isn’t worth the time—its endless over-the-top chaos quickly gets exhausting and frustrating rather than thrilling. If you’re looking for smart, believable storytelling, Penthouse is definitely not it.
