The Norwegian Forest cat he adopted stole my heart. Truly the gemstone of the movie. Reminds me of my cat Misha of the same breed, who I swore I couldn't take on the responsibility for but was told she'd be left behind at an animal shelter by its owner if I didn't adopt. She was emaciated, covered in sores and alopecia and I couldn't turn my back on her, just like Otto couldn't either.. Misha flourished into a big fat loving happy kitty and simultaneously changed my life. I miss her with all my soul. This movie reminded me of her. Also his battle with S.T., I could relate heavily to that too. I hope this movie gets a couple of Oscar nods. Tom Hanks' performance is masterful.
