The messages of the book are great, but they are also misleading. Most of the passages are spoken from the perspective of Jesus, using first-person pronouns, but they aren't actually from the Bible. She states that Jesus told her what to write and this is evidenced by referencing modern conveniences such as "cell phones" and "door bells." While hypothetically possible the Lord spoke to her, it is somewhat concerning that she always writes as if this is a direct quote from him.
