As a Jamaican who migrated to the US at 7, this series is so personal and excellent! I absolutely applaud the storyline, casting and cinematography. Bravo! Thank you for showing the “other side” of this beautiful country. It is essential that we talk about the colorism, homophobia and poverty that is front and center. It is important that we show the injustice at the hands of colonialism and how it’s manifested to black Jamaicans. I hope the next season touches on how the locals cannot even enjoy their own beaches. Well done!!!
