Exactly the type of Assassins Creed I loved, far more focused and deliberate. Yes, sometimes you jump in the wrong direction when climbing and land next to the guy you're trying to avoid, and yes, the AI can be lemmings sometimes... and the story is fairly bland, but overall the game is exactly the type of game I was looking for. Those that are saying this is a step backwards are right -- but it's a step back towards digestible AC games that have a scope that's realistic, vs a 100+ hour monster that the average person would never see the majority of, let alone all of. Not to mention, this game has a true love for the history -- I've rarely read all of a codex in any game, but this one I actively read every piece of information it's provided, and it's led me down some google rabbit-holes.
