Not sure why this got such a bad rating. I found it really entertaining. Really good cinematography. Not as complex and well made as Stieg Larsson and David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, but very similar vibes. Also, it was really nice to see Val Kilmer in a movie again (though I feel they could have done so much more with his character).
