Surprised by the amount of 5-Star ratings to be honest. The first two seasons are almost unbearable to watch. The show centre's itself far to much around Michael Scott. He fumbles from episode to episode somehow keeping his job after he commits unspeakable workplace acts, over and over again. It gets very tedious and boring. While the show is obviously a fantasy, it's not possible someone could be as stupid as the boss (Scott) & there's no way any employees would ever tolerate a moron of this level running the business. Jim and Dwight are the best characters while Andy makes a great addition in later seasons. Season 9 was a personal favorite as Michael Scott has left the show & it gives other characters/ story lines a chance to shine. Overall, the show is grossly over rated & largely unfunny. It took me 3 seasons to genuinely burst out laughing. The actual acting is top-notch and the actors should take a bow but if you've never watched this, take a pass. There's way better stuff out there.

The actual "Real Estate" part of the Show is highly entertaining & gives the viewer an insight into how filthy rich the wealthy are. The homes featured on the show are another level. Unfortunately 70% of the show is mind-numbing ENDLESS self-promoting dribble from the main characters. The worst offender being Simon Cohen. Buying houses is his secondary job, his main passion in life is himself. His entire business, from his mother in the office, to the lap-dogs that he surrounds himself with, are employed for the sole purpose of pumping the tyres of this egomaniac. What did he eat last night? Did he go on a date? What was she like? Did she smell nice? Is she right for him? When is he having children? He's a plain looking 36-year old with a receding hairline that carries on like he should be the next Channel 10 "Bachelor". In the few spare minutes he finds to actually focus on his business, he just low-balls the Agents & leaves without buying anything. My favorite moment being when he offers 14 million for a house that goes for 24 million. Talk about clueless. Looking forward to Season 2, even if I have to fast-forward through the majority of each episode.
