Ok, my god. This film was so painfully boring. You don’t care about anyone and it’s the same, long, tortuous note from beginning to end, no character arc whatsoever. Every performance felt like acting, the love story felt ultra bland and unbelievable. It was hard to actually understand what the vampire was saying, even though it felt like he was speaking in slow motion…and the raspy breathing was so interminable. Also, It was just gory, unnecessarily gross, with strange, very awkward nudity / sex scenes; frankly, it was just lame across the board. We actually laughed out loud a few times at how ridiculous it all felt. People even walked out at various stages. Truly, just watch the trailer and save your money. Also, my husband actually dozed off at one point and i genuinely considered just taking a nap.
