I'm abiut mid game and I've absolutely loved almost everything, the gameplay is great, difficulty is high but mostly fair (key word mostly), the sense of progression when getting a new skill is good and it looks amazing. BUT there is 1 massive issue, WAY TOO MANY BOSSES DO 2 DAMAGE, in the first game it was rare for a boss to do more than 1 damage in general, even rarer for required bosses, in silksong the majority of bosses do 2 masks of damage and it just makes artificial difficulty it a game that is already pretty hard and did not need the extra difficulty, my guess is it was done to balance healing doing 3 masks at base instead of 1 like in the first game, but that was kinda already balanced by the increased cost to heal and that getting hit before you finish healing wastes your silk, even some normal enemies do 2 damage. It's such a big issue the 2rd boss you are likely to fight does 2 damage, I don't think you can get 1 health upgrade before fighting it without skips and you need 2 to be able to take 1 more hit without healing and this is the case for most bosses. And it's a massive stain on and otherwise amazing game
