(Possible Spoilers) This movie was absolutely amazing. I’m surprised on how many bad ratings it got but it didn’t stop me from watching the movie. When watching it I was so hooked. I cried at least 3 different times. I may just be one emotional mf but god did this get to me, and I don’t even cry when it comes to movies. Just something about this movie made me very emotional. I think what got me is the way Jakub felt so lonely and all the emotions he was feeling for being alone for such a young time. Feeling lost without Lenka and the way he kept hoping for her to reach back to him made me so sad. The ending made me a lot happier but at the same time very sad. The bond and relationship Jakub formed with Hanus. When they hugged I just bawled my eyes out. Then I cried even more when Jakub watched Hanus decay at the end. Such an emotional yet beautiful movie. I also do love every movie Adam Sandler is in. Although this is very different from the comedy movies he usually does it’s still one of his best in my opinion.
