Any caring parent should not let their children watch! The positive review all come from children cause kids cannot comprehend the hidden messages, and as far as visuals and action go, the movie is actually one of the better ones. Same nonsense that was seen in Frozen. Encourage kids to rebel against their parents, only less subtle this time cause the parents are apparently ready for the bigger dose now. Parents! Do not let your kids watch this movie! Especially the "minorities". The western families are considered to have already been messed up and it's well acknowledged in the movie when the white kid says "my parents are ok with me going to the concert, they just want me to pay for it myself"!!. This is literally the case for most families in the west. Parenting is reduced to financing alone, with no other responsibilities. Kids grow up on their own, and they develop personalities based on whatever they see on the screens. And in some cases, the parents themselves are spoiled so they have no clue as to what true parenting is at all. Overprotective at this point simply means giving a damn about your children. Stick to your own methods.
