Kudos to Iles for his past work. I have white Southern and Northern roots myself and a small percentage of African American in my genealogy background. I don't need to be educated by the author about any history or politics. After waiting so long for this work I was so disappointed that I gave up about 200 pages in. I wish him the best of health as I face my second bout of cancer myself. Pass on this book.
