This movie was boring after the beginning. I don't believe it to be a good prequel. It lacked the edge of your seat action the first two movies had. If you are a fan of the Quiet Place movies then give this movie a try but it's not worth paying for. Try to watch for free on Prime Video with commercials. There aren't enough commercials to take away from this movie.
