If you like the Interplay games, don't even bother. So disappointed that MASSIVE SPOILER WARNING AHEAD, the NCR was completely annihilated. Furthermore, the show just decides that Vault-Tec very much still IS active and definitely didn't almost completely integrate into the Enclave. There's a few strange changes to things like power armor, the BOS is far too cult like (I know they're a cult of technofiles, but I don't recall ANYTHING about branding initiates,) and as per usual with Bethesda Fallout, they all have a savior complex now. Nothing against the actors at all, and a lot of concepts from the early episodes are interesting and fresh, but god damn is it disappointing to see how much of a turn this has been. And again, nothing against the actors! I think all three main characters performed excellently, and they should be applauded for it. But as soon as I realized that they used nearly the exact same inciting incident for the Vault Dweller to leave her vault as they did for Fallout 3 and 4, I knew that this was gonna be just the same old Bethesda Fallout.
TLDR: Don't waste your time if you're a stickler for details or if you don't want a tweaked retelling of Fallout 3. This only got 2 stars instead of 1 because the actors did a phenomenal job.
